nice set up, alot like mine pop up sights, same red dot sight I believe as well I dont have the flash light though or the suppressor  :-[ :'( I really want the suppressor

That aimpoint was worth the $700.00 I paid for it....that bastard survived iraq/astan without so much as a dead battery......don't wast your money on a suppresser....they are not nearly as cool as people think they are...

i figured it would take some time.  I'd be happy if it was pretty close though.  I think i have a cauterizing pen somewhere, that might help.

I found it easier to do short "etching" cuts rather than long tracing cuts....the foam for those cases are cheap so don't be afraid to play around with it...

That kind is actually easier to use....the bottom of it is flat...so just trace, and cut on the bottom...

ya my brother has an eotech on his AR that I had on mine and I switched and now I love my aimpoint Ive never put it through anything rough but I do here that they are favorites of soldiers b/c they are reliable and durable....ya i cant remember what the battery life was supposedly but it was something outrageous thousands of hours or something.

thats pretty cool looking my pop has a M1A scout that he had the stock tiger stripped and that thing looks freaking awesome man and its a ton of fun to shoot....

kind of expensive though.  looks good.  I am going to make the stencils and have the camo paint.  I will go DIY this time.

Painting a rifle is pretty easy....I usually use duracoat on my expensive stuff....and krylone camo on my cheaper rifles.....honestly, krylon does damn near the same quality of work as long as you know what you are doing...

just rub it down with alcohol....scratch up the surface with some emory cloth and go at it......for a AR you only really need to tape off the barrel........then you can cut and shape a coat hanger into a gun holding hook, put it through the flashhider and hang it up inside over night to insure proper, and even drying...
