No disrespect to you Groink, but take a look at some of these very elite and high-caliber athletes, they can eat a shitload of crappy food but they still are very fit and shredded. I'm just too much of a lazy fvck to put out that kind of effort with my training, but I have actually done it at various times thoughout my life.

From the age of 18-24 I always wanted t have my hair looking good, stylin clothes, body looking good and all that.

After that I just started giving less and less of a shit abut it.

By the time I was 28 I just didn't give a fuck at all.

So now I wear generic and second hand clothes, don't cut my hair, shave a couple times a week maybe, and just don't give a fuck about my image.

looking good or not looking good is only one of the many sides of ego... there can be many other egoistic sides, not just looks.

even you have to admit, ship, that you have alot of ego left when you have to constantly proof to people that you do or don't do something and you need to convince people constantly even though nobody asked... didn't you just say in your "this is the physique I strive for" that you want the hung penis of some shaman? isn't that ego?

me? hell yeah I have ego, when I go out, do this do that, I try to look my good self before I go, that's ego and living through other peoples expectations and the fake ass models that are meaningless, I know that... but I love the desire, I would love to just make people go ave and please everyone and just get huge self satisfaction...

one ego is also that not excepting any help from "certain people" just to show off... you know... same can be said about GIVING help... one is having sex with a woman, making her ejaculate but not bust a nut your self and tell to her face that; "yeah, i got you, you think I'm gonna bust a nut for you, no way... I know i can fuck you good and make you squeel but not gonna give my self satisfaction with you because that would make you feel special and adorable, hell no!" that's also ego...

I definitely do have a some ego left. I've killed certain aspects of it, but other aspects are still strong.

Right now i'm working a lot in a semi-professional job, and living in a city that's not very high on spiritual energy, the opposite really, a materialistic place, so it's got me regressing back a lot lately.

Just gotta work on it I guess. It's hard to be really spiritually centered when your environment pulls you in the opposite direction, but that's a good challenge to work with.

In some cases yes, but that group of folks most likely weren't truly motivated to begin with. The issue is that life flat out happens.....careers really intensify, families are growing and maturing, people begin to experience life and death within their immediate families, major moves occur, illnesses tend to be more common, etc....

For most, the 20s are period of transition between Mom and Dad and a first apartment and a first job......the gym at this point is typically still very intergral. This decade is typically when the "obsession years" in the gym happen. The gym passion is replaced with more serious, relevant passions. That doesn't mean that training is unimportant, but when real life responsibilities are set into motion the gym can quickly take a backseat.

For me, I just realized that bulking and "bodybuilding" isn't what i'm into or want to do.

I'd rather be lean, strong, in great cardio shape, flexible, etc.

I want to be fit and healthy. Not just some bloated and bulked up piece of shit.

I'm probably gonna start lifting again soon. But my attitude toward it is changed.

What drove you to this? A spritual path maybe being around the temple and monks?
