Actually, none of these are online courses, especially the one from Ashworth College .  Its all textbooks and lab projects.  Even if it was, being a personal trainer doesn't require a Ph D but just a working knowledge of fitness and nutrition and the ability to teach and instruct other people to get in shape and live healthy. 

Anyone can be a personal trainer, with or without certifications as its not a regulated industry
