Surprise Parties
« on: October 22, 2010, 07:19:09 AM »
Have you ever had one thrown for you?  Were you happy or mad/embarrassed?

If you haven't yet had one, would you want one?

Have you ever thrown one?  Was the person surprised or did you fail miserably :P

Had one thrown for me.wasn't a suprise though, two people slipped :-\.my girl at the time told me that the two of us were going to play golf.when we got to the course 27 of my friends were waiting.golfed and drank all day.we actually got in trouble at the course because the cart girl got pissed we weren't buying drinks from her because everybody had their golf bags full of booze :D
after that we went to my dads for a BBQ...ended up with over 60 people at his house.

....it honestly was a great day....friends still ask when it's gonna happen again.

I threw one for my husband once.  He was totally surprised since it wasn't on the actual date.  I definitely would not want one.  I like planned spontaneity  ;D

I threw one for my husband once too.  He was not surprised because I had printed the invitations off from our home printer and had unknowingly ran out of paper before the last 2 printed.  The next time he went to print something off he put in paper and 2 invitations came out.  Plus he found some in the console of my car. ::)

He didn't say anything until the night of the party when I asked him if he was surprised and he said, "do you want the truth?" :P
