Mike did a radio program a while back. Either RxMuscle or the old NoBull Radio and he discussed all his issues. He has battled Bipolar disorder his whole adult life and was finally diagnosed and medicated for it. He wants to attempt a comeback but he admits he's a heavyweight Pro with Light heavyweight legs. At the bar fight he had gotten into a verbal argument with a guy and was blindsided in the jaw with a beer mug. The pec tear came when a wannabe bodybuilder cut his girlfriend off outside a GNC store and then went inside. She called Mike crying and Mike tore his pec while giving the guy a beating in the store. The interview was very good but it has been a year or two.

We had that pic as a poster on the wall at the gym and when i pointed it out to Mike he said "fuckin hated that day,it sucked",which seemed kind of strange to me at the time.Wether or not what Jimmy has said about Mike i have no idea.This was the day before the 1988 Grand Prix in Nottingham and all the pros had trained at our gym during the day,Mike came in quite late with his girlfriend Dana and was still there at 10pm when i was ready for locking up.He asked me to show him how to get back to the hotel so i walked out the gym with both of them and we walked straight into a gang of about 10 guys,all pissed up (it was a saturday night) and Mike was wearing a world gym sweatshirt,so one of them says "bodybuilders,fuckin wankers" and i thought oh shit here we go,ten against two,and Mike stared at the guy who made the comment with his physcho looking eyes and said "what the fuck did you just say" and all of them shit themselves.He definitely wasn`t one to back down from a confrontation.

Well, well...It appears that we have something we can almost agree on.  I find his physique lacking and could care less if I never saw it again.  Typical bodydoper.  If he (and the majority of today's extra-chomosome physique chumpions) has something to be grateful for, it's that bodily functions such as heartbeat and respiration are involuntary actions, i.e., they don't require "thinking" to  be done.

" Here is a great Jim Quinn story that Jim told me himself while having dinner with him and a legendary Golds gym nutrionist named Neal Spruce. This was in 93. Jim told us about a schmoe that he was hired to visit for a posing session. When Jim arrived at the mans condo in the Marina Del Rey area, the old gentleman brought Jim into his bedroom and proceeded to open up a box. Inside the box was a very large Nazi SS costume. Hat , Arm Band and all the trimmings. He had everything except the boots. he wanted Jim Quinn to put on the oversized outfit and stand at the end of the hallway. What proceeded was this. The old man got totally naked and peddled about his large condo on a big wheel kids bike. And when he peddled past the end of the hallway, he wanted Jim Quinn to stop him and question him about being a filthy Jew. At which point Jim was to pick the man up out of the big wheel and stand him face forward against the wall and slap the old mans ass cheeks and call him a filthy jew.  Jim said he did the act over and over many times for close to the entire night. He said that the old man couldnt get enough of it. Jim said that the man never jerked himslf off or touched jim. And that at the beginning of the session the old man gave him $4000 cash.
