I can understand deer, turkey, hogs, and other animals that breed like crazy - but to me - killing tiger or elephant or rare animal like that is sickening.

Why people hunt tigers, elephants, and other animals like this is beyond me. 

I can understand deer, turkey, hogs, and other animals that breed like crazy - but to me - killing tiger or elephant or rare animal like that is sickening. 

The want or need for the fur, the teeth, etc. Some folk remedies...You know in Tanzania, they kill albinos (people) because witch doctor's claim that they have "supernatural" powers. They will kill lil kids (albinos) or cut off arms, legs etc, they fetch large prices..

I got to hang out and pet some tigers when I was in Chaing Mai, Thailand earlier this year.  You pay  $30 US to spend 20 minutes in an enclosure with them while they run around and play and shit.  It was pretty fucking awesome.

Killing these animals for "sport" is just awful.  I supporting hunting and all of that, but only for animals that breed like crazy like deer, turkeys, etc and actually get eaten and supply food. 

Elephant and tiger hunting is purely an ego thing.
