anybody thinking of buying a phone just now - DONT.
there are a host of dual core processor android phones coming out just before/after xmas. That will blow everything on the market today away.
highlights of this new wave of superphones include:
over 150 hours of music playback from a single battery charge,
over 16 hours of high def movie playback from a single battery charge.
ability to record video in 1080p at 30fps
ability to record video in 3d .
xbox 360/ps3 levels of graphics performance - with games designers jumping on the bandwagon like never before.
ability to output a video to 3 different tv's ( can be 3 different movies at the same time or any 3 things from the phone)
the first of this new batch of superphones to be released will be the samsung nexus s ( just before or just after xmas)
which along with a dual core orion processor ( said to also be the most powerful of all the new processors, both graphically and computationally), it will also feature a stock android i.e. it will be a google phone. this means that it will be super fast and easy to modify/change till your hearts content, not to mention get updates first.
the others are the motorolla olympus and lg star - both of which feature an nvidia tegra 2 dual core - these will be released in feb.
if you do not like the stock android look - the beauty of it is you can change it for any other look/u.i.
one of the best at the moment is called MIUI, which combines the best of android with the best of the iphone.
