It was the 1980 mr Olympia.  I was only 4 years old at the time, but I remember it very clearly.  Celente was a HUGE Mentzer fan.  He was telling everyone in the crowd that the nation's faith in bodybuilding, and hence world economy, was going to collapse if Arnold was given the win.
