My Prediction For The Strikeforce Heavyweight Tourny.

  I have a gut hunch that Barnett will surprise everyone and win this. He is as well rounded as Fedor but stands 6'3 and 240 lbs and he has the superb wrestling that other Strikeforce heavyweights lacks which will allow him to neutralize both Werdum's grappling and Overeem's stand up. A fight between Overeem and Barnett would be totally epic. Fedor is truly a mystery. If he comes back the Fedor of 2004 with insane submissions, superb takedown defenses, super KO power and the most epic and technical ground-and-pound ever, he could win but I don't think the Fedor of 20011 is even close to the Fedor of 2004. My prediction: Barnett will win this.

Have you listened to the Scott Coker interviews on the Larry Pepe show or on the SRN?  The guy put this whole thing together with virtually no planning and announced everything before he even knew who was committed or who wasn't.  It was just last week that they finally figured out that they would be doing a separate belt.  And Coker got caught lying.  He said the commission would not let them do 5 five minute rounds.  They interviewed the commissioners and they said they hadn't even spoken to Coker about it.

Trust me, this thing has train wreck written all over it.
