AI's - for how long is it safe to use?

Arimidex, Letro, aromasin...

whats the most youve ran any of them and whats the suggested duration as far as health is concerned?

These drugs are used to treat women for breast cancer and can be run for a very long time. The longer time run the more side effects one may encounter. For BB purposes these can be run pretty safe for the most part. Should be used at prescribed doses, or less in some cases depending on drug used.

Yes, but my lipids got FUCKED UP after a "course" of letro. Thats why im asking.

Is arimidex milder in side effects?

Adex is not much milder. For lipids your best bet would be aromasin. Aromasin is easier on the lipids than any of them if I recall correctly. I will look this up and get back to you.

titrate the dose down and then retest.  Generally you can tell if you're using to much if your joints ache more than usual. I use letro year round at 0.5 mg every 3 days and my E is in normal range and lipids are good.
