Why the fuck do you want Quebec to stay in canada ?

if you guys go the whole country gets divided in half geographically and prolly wont stay together.

quebec couldnt afford to leave -too costly- have to set up their own currency, passport, infrastructure and pay of their share of the national debt. it would never happen bro. we'll be neighbours for a long time yet

I'll acknowledge its not always a happy relationship and we have our differences but I'd rather see them part of Canada. There's a lot of regional disparity here but that's part of our history and one of the things that defines us. It's a slippery slope when certain parts of a country want to go separate ways....

Quebec and canada are just cultural, economical and social extensions of the US. Everyone in english canada is living like americans, and everyone in quebec is living like english canadians / americans.

Who gives a damn . I pity these quebecers who pretend to be "different" than english canadians or americans, when they drive SUV, watch american soaps and programms all day long, wear clothes worn by american sportsmen / actors, drink coca cola and eat at mac donald or burger king. Why pretend you re something special when you are not? We re all americans, because we all want to live like them. I as a french who left france and europe wanted to live like an american, and the closest option was to join the french part of canada. But i want my daughter to speak english and live either in english canada or the US, because i know quebec has no future. "cultural exceptions" are going to die. Dominant beliefs, and forces prevail. Muslims are taking over an atheist and depressed european population who tried to imitate the USA their best...and failed.

Also, most young (and well educated) quebecers despise the french culture and follow the american trends more and more. French culture is just disapearing. And not only in quebec, but also in...france... where french are getting replaced by africans and muslims.

Fact is north america is one giant country by itself, and we re all becoming the same, because of the internet and tv. We re all imitating the american model. As are europeans. The richest europeans flee europe to settle in north america, they even send their kids their already. French president nicolas sarkozy kids are all living in north america.

Everything constantly changes, evolve. Either you evolve with it and adapt or you dont. It's only a matter of time.
