What city do you live in - in DC it is now 25 cents FOR 7 MINUTES until 10 pm!!!  I've racked up so many parking tickets cause of this shit!

I parked my car the other day in my city to get a cup of coffee. The meter I parked next to was broken, so I had to go another block to the next pay machine. I come walking back and I see a meter maid writing me a ticket. I told her that meter is broken so I just walked to the next one to print my ticket. She says I dont care and started to walk away. I tried to argue with her and showed her the time of the ticket I just payed for, then she told me tough shit.

I then showed her my badge then she started to apologize. I said too bad I'm taking this to your superior. That type of shit is unjust and shouldn't be tolerated. I went to the head office were she was ordered back. I left once she started crying.

About a year back or so, here in New York city, our mayor cut back on funding for the NYPD.  Under his clause, he made it a point to make sure that the funding for meter maids was left untouched and even proposed increasing their pay, while the actual police officers were hit with the biggest salary cuts and decrease in the funding needed to hire more patrolmen.

vivo en NYC tambien, nothing here suprises me.

I still cannot get an explanation as to why MTA is always running a defecit.  Trains are always crowded and at $2.50.per ride they should be generating huge amounts of profits.
