Gotta disagree about the citizenship.  Like I said at the outset, this is nobody's business but him and personnel. 

I'm surprised he actually caved to the birthers.  In fact, that fucking quitter disgusts me ala Palin. 

Whether he is qualified to be president is everyone's business.  I never saw any real proof that he was born in Kenya.  But the point FarRightLooney has been making is there is a difference between being an American citizen and being a "natural born citizen."  The argument is Obama's father may have been a dual citizen, which would not qualify Obama to be a natural born citizen.  I haven't dug into any of that, but on the surface the kind of argument passes the laugh test.

Another thing - it still lists the fathers' race as being "AFRICAN" which was not a designation in 1961.

I don't like Obama, but, IMO, this issue isn't good for the country nor is it any good for getting him out of the office.  I wish it would die, but we both know that's not going to happen.

And just as I thought, people are already claiming the BC is a forger, fake, etc.

I don't know anything about the birther issue or have an opinion one way or the other yet but how do you know this certificate released is authentic?  I wouldn't trust the obama admin as far as i could throw them
