We are the sum of what precedes us. As is every living thing. Behaviors, thoughts, suboncscious life directions, and physical traits are only the sum of the genes of our parents, who were the sum of the genes of their parents and so on and so on. Every time a child is spawned, natural selection and evolution select physical and psychological, behavioral traits which will lead to the constitution of a new human "mind" and body. His psychism and physique will be a unique mix of his parents genes. We are programmed, and most of what we think and do is automatic and not chosen. What you ve been exposed to in your childhood and adolescence will determine the way you ll see the world and how people will see you.

Education, environment are standardized. It means even if we are genetically unique, what we learn is often the same for everyone, especially nowadays with globalization. But even educations are different.

Books and studies allow almost everyone to acquire what is needed to better your education, still, love -interest in your survival- from your caregivers is important to develop a happy -chemically happy- personnality from the very beginning.

Hapiness is produced in the brain when you can dominate and basically when you know your odds of survival at the moment or in the future will be better than other people. Feeling dominant -at work, in your car, in the gym- makes you "feel good", and it serves as a coping mechanism to deal with the fact you might suck in others areas of your life - with women etc..- The brain, its capacity to project yourself in the future, and memory have for sole and only purpose to allow you to dominate life around you, or live in cooperation with it. And to kill it before it kills you if needed.

If you dont know what 's wrong with you, look at what's wrong with your parents, grand parents (when they didnt convince you in the firstplace that nothing was wrong with themselves...). What your parents and grandparents didnt get past, will be yours to get past.

Whatever you read or learn by yourself wont change your fundamental genetical or physical traits tho.

What you think/believe in is the sum of all the beliefs, thoughts, you ve been exposed to and recorded thru your eyes or ears. Your brain spends his whole life calculating how to mix all of these things and how these informations can help you survive.

just get on steroids and come back claiming natural under a different screen name.  No one here will know the difference and you will probably be no less healthy than a guy who is naturally that muscular.

Maybe another time. What if my response to steroids was bad? Then doubly bad genetics...no way out.

depression sucks.  No way to think your way out of it.  I suggest making a major change in your routine, needs to be something disruptive.

No, never. The problem with me is a natural born predilection towards depression and melancholy but a complete immunity to any sort of true psychosis or syndrome, i.e. insanity. I have known cutters but I have never been one of them.

x2

I dont think THG founder Deicide has self pity though.  He is a deep thinker which can mess with your mind a little bit too much.
