They have no concept of what being in shape is either. I know a guy who is a ripped 185lbs at 5'9".  This slob who is 230 and couldn't run around a block without keeling over said he's so much bigger than him.  Yes, if you are talking about sloppy weight.

I learned this long ago. Guys are delusional about what they look like.

Have you ever watched a football game and they say a players 6'3" 260lb and some slob friend says I got 10lbs on him?

I constantly here that one! They think weight is weight, so to them Oprah Winfrey is the same size as a 230lb bodybuilder, seems to all look the same to them.. ??? Must be weird being so delusional or unaware of details like that.

I`ve had people tell me I look good but they wouldn`t want to look like me,or be as big as me (at 165-170 pounds with abs).

My ass,of course you would love to have ripped abs and a great physique, but instead they settle for seeing their dicks for the last time in 1984.

Fucking people are lazy which makes them jealous of our committment to looking good because they can`t committ to it.

I know not everyone wants to be a pro bodybuilder, but you know they`d all like to look better and be stronger.

In essence,fuck `em.......I`m getting mine!!  ;D

If I had a nickel for every diet and routine I wrote out for someone who didn`t last a week on it,I`d have more cash than Donald Trump!!

could this girls' cluelessness be just a microcosm of the obesity factor in our society running rampart nowadays? what i mean is she thought your arms were huge and "too big"  so she is pretty bad and/or clueless in judging and accepting the reality.... perhaps in some similar way this could explain people who are fat, or obese, or just out of shape? meaning, they either don't know or can't understand for some reason the reality of their bodies?

they don't think or see themselves as what they are or justify it in that they are like "everyone else?"

the same kind of thinking when you see these people millions and millions in the u.s. alone who drink and/or smoke and yet the bodybuilder who is huge and muscular is "the weirdo' and the one who should be judged and not the "normal one' and taking those bad, bad, bad evil steriods that kill people ,..... because hey it's normal and okay to take the drugs of nicotine and alcohol, i mean "everyone else does it right?!"

he recently got somewhat serious about working out and admitted that it was just an excuse to not workout...

Definitely. Like Nasser said, its like going up to the owner of a Ferrari and saying "I wouldn't want to drive such a car" when its really a sad and obvious excuse for them being pathetic and jealous.

Its amazing what people will say to someone who physically emasculates them, when they get that jealous they are willing to say anything to knock you down a notch and make themselves feel less pathetic.

It really struck home the other day when my pathetic arms of maybe 14"+ were called 'too big' by a girl. I realised at that moment that either the majority of the population is delusional or people who lift live in their own dimension with its own conceptions of proportion and size and given the fact that the former has a greater number of representatives than the latter, I would say people who lift live in their own dimension...

Discuss...

People who spend hours at the gym lifting and comparing themselves to others who lift do live in a different dimension. So what? I like that dimension better.

My forearms are 13" and they look small to me. My biceps are 17" and I can't see enough peak on them. They need to be bigger and with more peak. Any suggestions?

incline curls and preacher curls always seems to help my peak

also body fat, if its high you wont see a good peak even if you have one.

thats true and false at the same time. a huge amount of women are that way, but they dont realise untill they reach middle age or older that they set themselves up for a life of wishing for something better. women need to be told what to do or else they arent happy. when they have to make decisions on their own they feel insecure and overwhelmed. they might not show it, and alot of times these twink loving women will react negatively to any man who asserts dominance over her... result of most hetero men being complete pussies+feminist movement going way too far..  but if you just keep doing it in a respectful yet adoring, masculine way.. then they will almost always give in to their natural submissiveness.

I thought you were homo? Great insight for a gay dude, or whatever. Pretty spot on.

In regards to the topic - the only bodybuilding show I've attended was the 2001 NZ Grand Prix. I had to drive to Wellington and when I checked into a motel, the lady in the reception asked me why I was visiting and when I told her it was for a bb contest, said, "That's nice, I think you'll do well." ;D

The next question is 'how do you know steroids are bad?' After everyone laughes they all agree its bad just to not look stupid at that moment and to not be pressured to think about this at that time (its a party afterall). The answer is 'steroids are bad because there is a rule that says to not use it'.

One look at any statistic in any country in the world says otherwise but this doesnt count. The rule is there and therefore its a good rule. 'they wouldn't make a rule if it's not bad now would they?' A typical non-argument from people with no open mind and usually no real information.

It's basically like religion 'It's true because its says so in the book, and the book says so because it's true'.

Bro most people want to be told what to do it's much easier for them (not sayin' you don't already know this)

Only a few break the mold and do what they want or think differently. If you found someone without such a stupid view on things you would have a great conversation. Kind of like every 2nd thread on getbig  ;)

We passed through Syracuse just last weekend and fed ourselves. Let me know when you'll next be in the area and I'll make the drive. I'm sure I'm closer to the Dinosaur Grill than you, so it would be no big deal, border aside.    :)

Me neither. Just trying to appear intellectual. And I play the Nintendo stuff - less buttons, and side-scrolling easy games.  8)

We`ll hook up one of these days and just be thankful I quit drinking years ago because bail money with me is a monster!!  ;D
