I know a man, about Ricky's age, who trained with him for several years. I mentioned Ricky to him the other day, how there are no characters like that in Swedish powerlifting etc today, and he said he just passed away today.
There's a docummentary about him you can download. Forgot the name. Funny part where he orders a huge box of Great Earth aminos and vitamins taking hundreds of pills trying to compete without steroids. He shows this to a doctor and the doctor goes, "this stuff is worthless". I think the doc even says better go with the "other" stuff.
He was a bit strange and some of his stories were pure BS. Like when he said he had to stand on his hands in the bathtub when peeing because of constant erection from steroids.
