Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner was heckled by a rowdy crowd while he announced his resignation from the House today. At least twice he was interrupted by shouts and catcalls from the audience with one man crying out, "Are you more than seven inches?" in reference to his sexting photo scandal.

Weiner was apologetic in his resignation, saying sorry several times to his wife, Huma Abedin, who is currently working in North Africa with her boss, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Weiner also apologized to his constituents and for being a distraction from the regular work and duties require of members of congress.
