Liposuction doesn't alter a person's bad eating habits. I suppose some people might think they can fix being overweight by having liposuction rather then through diet, but it doesn't work that way. We all have a certain number of fat cells. When you have liposuction, that number is reduced permanently. If you overeat, you won't grow new fat cells, but the ones you have will continue to get bigger.
Liposuction is a way to spot reduce unwanted fat stores which helps sculpt the body. Some folks carry extra fatty deposits in certain areas which can make them appear misshapen. Many men, for example, have "love handles" even when they have a relatively low percentage of fat. For them, liposuction can offer some benefit by reducing the quantity of these unwanted and often unsightly fat deposits.
In contrast, some people have plumped out other parts of their bodies through the injection of fat. Some men have had fat injections to make their penis' fatter (won't make it longer, though). I am not sure this is still the method of choice but for a time plastic surgeons were injecting fat into people's faces to smooth out wrinkles.
The best way to look lean and fit is to be lean and fit. This means watching your diet and exercising. There is no way around this....not even through liposuction.
