McCain lost because in 2008 - there was a perfect storm of events favoring Obama.

1.  McCain sucked, was old, tired, angry. 
2.  McCain said "fundamental of the economy were strong"
3.  McCain was tagged with McSame, Mcbush, McLame, etc
4.  McCain SUSPENDED his campaign for fucks sake. 
5.  McCain was not liked by the base GOP. 


6.  Obama was the msm favorite and they kneepadded him daily over hillary and mccain
7.  Obama had no record at all
8.  A false, but albeight effective, narrative was created about obamna that the moronic public bought in to.
9.  A B B!   Anybody but Bush
10. Record turnout by blacks, young people etc.

I don't think you can go from capitalism to Marxism in a generation, but you can sow the seeds.  Democratic socialism is more preferable in my opinion though.

The best nugget was that if Uncle Sam got out of the loan business, college nationwide would be so much cheaper. Why does tuition continue to climb year after year unconnected to the economy.
