yes.. notice when both of them hit the back poses both their calves looked great at the beginning but dorian kept his calf flexed till he finished the pose while dillett's became relaxed after few seconds!!..

nice video, and went as expected - dillett mostly better from the front, yates better from the back, dillet unable to hold or at times even get into the pose.

Agreed, such a wasted potential!!! If he could only have been properly schooled in posing and presentation he probably would have won the big O in a few tries!

ronnie and paul have to be the worst posers of all-time. shit, and diana dennis even tried to help ronnie with posing. anyway, paul has better structure, but yates is more complete, even with block waist and no biceps.

ronnie was not a great poser but not to the extent to be mentioned with dillett in the same sentense!!.. as for the worst posers ever you have dillett by himself then after a far distance put whatever names you want!!.. but imo even if he was a great poser he would have never won any olympia as someone mentioned here!!..

I think he had more medical problems than he let on. He had poor muscle control and shook like a wet puppy. He had said in the late 90s early 2000s that his doctor's told him after several shoulder surgeries that he had virtually no cartilage left in his shoulder/rotator cuff. It was strictly bone on bone.
He played in the CFL, so something must have happened to make the switch---like an injury.

Dillett lacked back detailing---huge traps going down to almost nothing...and he could have competed at bigger than 280-285.
He couldn't execute a proper lat spread, and he was wider standing in relaxed pose than he was in a lat spread.

Agreed. Paul has one of the, if not THE, best front-double biceps pose of all-time. His lats uncharacteristically flared in that shot, his waist looked small, his quads were huge and his calves matched; then, there were his arms! Holy fuck on that count. As Mentzer told me around 1997, he'd never seen a bigger arm than Paul's when flexed.

Apart from that, yeah ... Paul won the front double-bi. Dorian raped the poor sap in every other pose.
