What's yours?
This is what i'm toying with at the moment:
Cheese and meat tray: baby blue, triple cream brie, manchego, herbed goat cheese, chorizo, salami, capicola. Maybe some other stuff, like marinated olives & roasted peppers.
Fruit & nut tray: assorted nuts with strawberries, grapes, carmelized figs
Bread: french baguette, ciabatta, maybe somehing along the semi-sweet style too
Soup: Carrot and ginger soup. I'm thinking of serving it in mini-pumpkins with a carrot/chive/cumin creme fraiche. Or same garnish, no chive but blanched & curled green onion.
Salad: Mesculin mix salad with tomato, cucumber and mustard vinaigrette.
Meat: Brined turkey stuffed with aromatics and a mushroom trifolate gravy
Side: Roast Garlic mashed potatoes, Green bean almondine, cornbread dressing, Grand Marnier Cranberry sauce
Dessert: Flan, pecan pie, pumpkin pie and maybe a coconut custard pie
