Sad to see so many negative reactions. I think he deserves better. He was one of the best builders in the seventies, whatever some people may think of him now. As mentioned earlier, besides Arnold, Lou still is the only bodybuilder known to the general public. Imo he had excellent proportions, mass and symmetry around 1974/75 and beyond (His comeback in the nineties with growth hormones/calf inplants? ruined his physique. If I remember correctly he got an attractive Weider contract, but at what price?

You know what, you're right. But with a good physique comes a good attitude and his just sucked! He's not very personable and is so quick to try and sell you something as opposed to just talk to you as a person, not a salesman!

lol......I just scroll past him these days at Expos.....I remember a couple years ago, blockhead and Special-Ed was tryin to get an interview with him, he told them to get lost.......since then, I realized what a true asshole "Big Lou" is.....way to go, Hulk

The funny thing is that you always get some of the general public that stroll into the expo at the Arnold or Olympia and they get excited to see "The Hulk" sitting at a table because he's probably the only one in the whole place that they recognize.  They are still willing to pony up $20 and take a picture with him.  Lou has basically given the fans of BB the middle finger.

the 70's and 80's early incarnation lou has tremendous build for tall guy,impressive bodyparts,,legs so/so ,,90's hit the envouge drug combos and calf implants was as big as ever ,,looked better in arnold era,,
