The hammer incline is great too
Def better than smith machine. Never liked smith machine for really anything, locks you into such a fixed plane of motion. Barbell or db incline are numero uno

incline Smith is an awesome movememt along with flat bench Smith, i  moved my grip out about a year ago really wide like markus did and my chest got bigger.


Hammer incline is probably just as good if not better!

Good movement but not the best dumbell incline and flat both are better movements and the bench press depending on your build

Another good tactic on the Smith Incline is to do one and a half reps........do a full rep,followed by a half rep from the top which equals one rep one rep.............,keep repeating,and thank me later.

Note:
You`ll have to use moderate weight for this to be effective.

your AAS + GH because with out those no type of training will grow you lol..

but of course everyone has their own favorite exercise for whatever reason

these two and there's no need for other chest exc. If you do a slight incline 1 exercise might be enough....but I do other too to have some variation.  :)

I thought you left? Flat barbell bench is not as good as Incline, with barbell, db, Smith Machine, or Hammer Strength---it gives you that "shelf look", barbell bench can give you that droopy pec look...
Plus, barbell bench is a chest destroyer...Titus tore his pec, Levrone, and many others from doing flat barbell bench. I've known several people who have torn a pec from that as well.

THE ONLY POSITION WHERE CHEST IS ACTUALLY ISOLATED, MEANING YOUR SHOULDERS AND ARMS DONT COME INTO WORK, IS THE DECLINE PRESS. JUST DO WHAT I SAID STANDING, SEE WHERE YOUR CHEST DOES MOST OF THE WORK.

chest shape is genetical, some have great chest others dont. Most people who started weight lifting by focusing exageratly on their arms often have weak chest due to the overdevelopment of biceps and triceps.  No flat or incline bench press ever worked for me, it mostly only destroyed my shoulders.

I think dips are the best exercise to develop a full chest even if you re not genetically gifted in that area.

CHEST DIPS ARE FANTASTIC HAVE YOU EVER DONE THEM TO WHERE YOUR ARMS ARE STRAIGHT AND YOU JUST KIND OF GO DOWN, KEEPING THEM STRAIGHT. YOUR UPPER PEC GETS A PUMP OF THE LIFETIME..OF COURSE THIS PUMP WAS ATTAINED BEING OFF OF HORMONES AND TAKING AN PRE-WO BEFORE, BUT ITS A GREAT EXERCISE. REGULAR CHEST DIPS, OR THE SO CALLED PARILLO DIPS. FANTASTIC FOR CHEST.

There's a lot more to it than just that. The way I do inclines I definitely hit my chest well.

I vary the degree of inclination depending on how I feel and I've always liked using a suicide grip too. The way I do inclines my front delts are dead. I also scale the weight back so there's more isolation to the chest and shoulders and arms don't need to come into play. It was a hit to the ego at first, but if my chest develops faster than all the big benchers who keep getting injured then I'm the one laughing. 8)
