Newt Gingrich: Serial Hypocrisy
« on: December 01, 2011, 03:14:47 AM »

It will be a sad day if republicans choose this DC insider as the nominee.  That he is this popular right now goes to show how uninformed the republican base is.

they dont have many options, and for some reason this media blackout of ron paul works on them.

really tho, I think it's the rush of having the 'right answer' and choosing the latest flavor when the pollsters call.  This way, ,they're "with it" and know what's going on.

Newt has perfect credentials demonstrated in this video for the average idiot Republican voter out there. Some of the pro Newt comments on youtube for this vid prove this. I never thought I would find myself agreeing with Rush but there you go.

Like I've said before, Newt is a smart, sharp, sleazy politician. He might be the brainiest guy running for President right now, but he uses his wits for the wrong purpose. I believe this man has some deep-seated psychological issues to be honest... for those of you who know what my username/avatar are about, Newt strikes me as a character of Randian proportions... a kind of Ellsworth Toohey, if you will.

That said, if the Republican Party chooses him, he will win the Presidency. Obama doesn't stand a chance against a man of Newt's intellectual caliber.

No way he'd ever last in any presidential race.

The man is smart. He is no John McCain. He would wipe the floor with Obama, guaranteed.

LOL     He shut down the Govt and remained in power and got welfare reform, spending cuts, etc.

Newt is a political turd and old war horse, but he will completely wreck obama limb to limb.

I am not arguing Newt's capabilities over OB.

he wont get elected, he won't beat OB in an election, that's all.

Why not? Unemployment is high, inflation is creeping upwards, and the economy is incredibly weak. Obama owns this problem and the voters will make him pay.

We americans are led around by whatever those schmucks on msn and fox and drudge tell us.

the REST OF THE WORLD - they bet on the outcome of the US election without that nonsense.  They don't bet pwnings or cool points - they bet dollars.  And right now, obama is at 50.4% chance to win re-election.

Personally, I trust global bookies willing to lose millions of their OWN dollars, than I do cable tv pundits who are paid to create and exploit uncertainty so that you won't change the channel.

It's going to be damn close.  the same dummies celebrating their 2012 win already were the ones saying "obama care is officially dead!" for a year before it passed.  You never know - but the global betters have clearer and better info than those of us INSIDE the usa watching busy bodies on cable all day.

Maybe, but history seems to suggest otherwise.  With this economic climate, last elections eagerness to oust incumbents, crappy approval...Barry's in some deep shit.

It's a year out from the election... the markets can't be said to be too accurate right now.  ::)

but these global bookies who are worth a fortune are willing to take these odds.  that says a lot.  They'll pay out with the repub as the underdog.

Tell me, how many "global bookies" are in it on intrade and with how much money?

Your entire argument seems to be dependent on that answer, yet you have failed to provide evidence for it.

Honestly, with how far out from the election we are, I wouldn't expect many people to be betting money. Future economic conditions still are too uncertain.
