Eduard Kawak's back (1988-1993)

Damn good. Reminds me of tad thicker, yet tad less aesthetically pleasing, Charles Clairmonte. Has a pretty Dorianesque rear lat spread.

It's a shame he's such a forgotten bodybuilder. His name is almost never mentioned when talking about great backs. It was one of the best of that late-80s/early-90s era, though.

You should dig up that thread over at IA by Jeff Preston (I think it was) where it shows the dramatic different between Kawak onstage looking monstrous and later in the night at dinner looking like Webster (Emmanuel Lewis).

That's Jeff Preston, if my memory recalls correctly. He is the guy that originally posted those pictures. Great guy, and when I first registered there I was a down and out musician with no money. A thread popped up about the book (not the movie) Pumping Iron and all the guys were talking about reading it but I didn't know there was a book. Jeff out of nowhere offered to send me his spare copy. He did, never asked me for anything in return. The whole board was a great group of guys, I left though, just after Shawn Perine (the founder) got his gig at FLEX. The board was still cool but then turned into something I don't think was ever originally intended to be by Shawn.

Wes used to hang around there a lot and I think him and Jeff still are in contact but I could be mistaken.
