Yes, you don't know how much influence test and estrogen have in your personality until you try steroids and then you come off. I'm not saying you will be a complete different person but you can notice the influence in your mindset.

That is a fact. You can drink and combine them with alcohol and never wake up. Most of the people responding to this thread have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

When you have an "episode" or a seizure it is more often than not b/c you have snorted the drug in very high doses ~ not only that. but you don't take another dose after the high.

Benzos like Alazropam require steady dosages of tolerable amounts - not to get high, but to stop anxiety, or possibly to put you to sleep (albeit NOT permanantly)

Benzos are too often used to bring people down after a stimulant rather than their intended use,  which is to temporarily halt G.A.D (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) ~ as a recreational drug, they are a "no no"

You are just asking for trouble. They are also highly addictive. If the dose is not too high and you are only using what the doctor has prescribed and taking it when you should, you should not experience the episodes/seizures or much in the way of withdrawal.

There is a rebound effect that comes from steady use. If you don't just take the drug "as needed" (which some folks can do) you find that you will have "fake" panic attacks that can easily be tolerated if you just don't take the drug.

Kids these days like to snort their oxy and take their Vics along with a Redbull and some alcohol (all night) and then they expect to be able to use Xanax as if it were nothing. Xanax serves a valuable purpose, its just not a good choice for recreational doping as it does not mix well in concotions. 


Valium will half a much longer half-life and leave you feeling groggy (even the next day) and is actually much more physically and mentally addicting.


Some solid folks would not have a life without Alazropam. Others would be well to keep their hands off of the stuff.


Taken as directed its fine and you don't need a methadone clinic to get off of it. Your dosage should never exceed more than a milligram and a half at one time. Anything more than that and you are probably looking to get high. Go smoke dope. Some people take Xanax just so they dont get anxiety from their weed. It's all about how you use it. It can either help you function daily as a *normal* human, or it can ruin your life (as can any drug or obsession)

it also depends on the benzo, alprazolam and temazepam are more likely to cause death in overdose and are more toxic then the others in the class.

If you are taking high amounts of xanax and stopp cold turkey you can have a seizure. it has nothing to do with snorting the drug. alot of these kid overdosing do not have prescriptions and thats the problem. they run out and they are fucked. they use to many to fast and if you dont really need the drug it is stupid to use. I really need the drug I have been diangnosed as haviing panick attack dissorder and OCD. I take them as prescribed and i doont get all tired like most people do. If you take them daily like I do that side effect wears off and you just live a good life where you do not get anxious and dont feel like your going to pass out in a busy location. I only use a little more at night to sleep thats when I get tired is when I use more than I am suppose to. but i have to do it to sleep. If I dont my mind will race all night my brain doosn't like shutting off. I just keep thinking of things. but if i take a extra tab of xanax this does not happen and I am able to pass out like a normal person and I getv good rem sleep. the pain killers do njot help me sleep they just nake it so I am not in oain and toiss and turb all night without them I wouldnt be able to sleep i would toss and turn all night. thats how bad my neck and back are and allso my glutes. they get very tingly if i am not on my pain meds. pain meds just make it so my quality of life is normal. same with the xanax I think it is a  miracle drug. it helped with all my axiety issues and made me way more social and just in gneral a nicer person. I am on a strict contract with my oxycontin/oxycodone. they can call me in for pill counts they can call me in for UA's they have alot of control over me if thhey want to. but they ae usually cool about everything since all my UA's have been acurate and I have nvere ran out early.If I didnt need them i wouldn't take them but man xanax has done alot of good for me. I have seen people buse it and those ae the type of people who make me sick but they always end up crshing their car becsue they pass out at the wheel or withdraw because tey do not have a legal script,. dont take these drugs unless they are prescribed and follow the directions!

I used to take all sorts of shit for anxiety.  xanax 4mg a day, klonopin 4mg a day, and lexapro.  I weaned myself off of all of it a few years ago.  it was fucking hell.  the xanax was the easiest to kick.  ironically, the lexapro which most would deem the safest, was the hardest.  if I missed a dose my throat would tighten and it would be hard to breathe.  it took me about a month or 2 until I was completely clean, and it was hard as fuck.  I didn't do rehab or any of that, just sheer willpower.  I am actually pretty proud that I was able to overcome it, and I deal with it and use breathing techniques when I have an anxiety attack now.  like all things, they eventually pass.  if I need to give a speech or presentation, I take a full dose of my beta blocker that I get for hypertension... it at least somewhat mutes the adrenal response.

I feel sad for the bros on here that are hopelessly hooked on this garbage.  I feel like the shit is way over prescribed these days, and while I had a legit need, I feel in the long run it also harmed me a fair share for the good that it did.  I appreciate the mental clarity that I have these days, and would never be on these drugs full time again.

We usually give them anticonvulsives when detoxing..
