Rasis or not, I still favor them.   If you need to pass a civics test to get citizenship, you should do the same to be able to vote.

I will completely destroy you in any history, civics, economics, law, test you can find.  Go dig one up and even with cheating beforehand on your part I would obliterate you.

You have at best an 8th grade level of civics knowledge.

What a remarkable thread.......

http://www.usmessageboard.com/education/168013-republicans-are-better-educated-then-democrats.html

I've found plenty of articles saying that all that dem=better educated shit is all BS....I think we've proved that on the board time and again. I have no idea what the numbers really are but take this for what its worth. I have no idea what the bias is but if the NES is non-political then it might be ok. Further...as Barry is abandoning white working class Americans for Minorities..I'd say its right.

Education. Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats to have 4-year college degrees. The trends for the years 1955 through 2004 are shown by gender in the graphs below, reproduced from a book published by Joseph Fried. These graphs depict results obtained by Fried from the National Election Studies (NES) database
Business community. The GOP is usually seen as the traditionally pro-business party and it garners major support from a wide variety of industries from the financial sector to small businesses. Republicans are about 50 percent more likely to be self-employed, and are more likely to work in the area of management

Income. Low-income voters tend to favor the Democratic Party while high-income voters tend to support the Republican Party. President George W. Bush won 41% of the poorest 20% of voters in 2004, 55% of the richest twenty percent, and 53% of those in between. In the 2006 House races, the voters with incomes over $50,000 were 49% Republican, while those under were 38%

Military. Republicans hold a large majority in the armed services, with 57% of active military personnel and 66% of officers identified as Republican in 2003 link

And this.....from the quiz like the one 3 posted some days ago.

Republicans Are Smarter Than Democrats

Do you remember that Pew political news IQ quiz many of you took about a week ago? Here’s the post: “Are you smarter than the average American?”

The quiz of 12 multiple-choice questions which you took online was the work of the Pew Research Center. Between January 14 and 17 this year, Pew gave the quiz to a national sample of 1,003 American adults reached on cell phone and landlines. Pew just published the results. The next time some lib troll spews out the Left’s tiresome — and erroneous – malicious stereotype of Conservatives as uneducated stupid rednecks, show them this.

This is what Pew found:
■Americans in general are quite ignorant, answering an average of only 5.3 questions correctly. Despite their professed concern about the health care reform issue, Americans are most ignorant on a matter that is critical to the passage of Obamacare: how many votes are needed in the Senate to break a filibuster. Only 26% correctly answered “60″.
■There is a gender gap: Men did significantly better than women. Men on average answer more questions correctly than women (6.0 for men vs. 4.6 for women). The gender gap in news knowledge is greatest on the question of which country holds the most U.S. government debt (70% of men answer correctly vs. 49% of women) and the current level of the Dow (45% of men know this vs. 27% of women). On only one question did as many women as men answer correctly — that more than one woman is currently serving on the Supreme Court.
■There is a big age gap: Older people (30 and older) scored better than the young (age 30 and below) on every question except the one on Stephen Colbert being a comedian and television talk show host.
■There is an education gap: Those with some college experience correctly answered an average of 5.4 questions vs. 3.9 for those with no college experience. However, even the college educated had problems with the question on the number of Senate votes needed to overcome a filibuster. Fewer than half of college graduates (45%) know that it takes 60 votes.
■There is a race gap: 30% of non-Hispanic Whites knew that it takes 60 votes to break a Senate filibuster vs. 20% of non-Hispanic Blacks; 37% of Whites knew that no GOP senators voted for the health care bill vs. 20% of Blacks.
■There is a party gap: Republicans are more knowledgeable than Democrats. Republicans, on average, answered one more question correctly than Democrats (5.9 vs. 4.9 correct). These differences are partly a reflection of the demographics of the two groups: Republicans tend to be older, better educated and male, which are characteristics associated with political and economic knowledge. However, even when these factors are held constant, Republicans still know more than Democrats. Republicans are even more knowledgeable than Democrats on matters pertaining to Democrats: 48% of Republicans (vs. only 33% of Democrats) are able to identify Democrat Harry Reid as Senate majority leader.

These findings are consistent with the results of past knowledge quizzes — the older, well educated, white, males, and Republicans consistently are more politically and economically knowledgeable than the younger, less educated, non-white, females, and Democrats. Notice that the less knowledgeable groups are also the Obama voters!

The party Chair out there says otherwise.

Despite the presence of Occupy protestors in Iowa, the Iowa Republican Party is confident voter fraud won't be a concern Tuesday night at the presidential caucuses. The Iowa GOP sets the rules for voting, and has decided to allow Iowans to register on the day of the election. However, Iowa GOP chair Matt Strawn insists reports are incorrect that voters don't need a photo ID to register on Tuesday.

"You need to make sure you are a registered Iowa voter in the precinct within which you live. And if you are registered Republican, your name will already be on the pre-provided list at your individual precinct. If you're not a registered Republican, you can register tonight but you have to show a photo ID proving residence in that precinct in order to participant," Strawn said.

Who would be right? The Party chair or the state?
