Too bad about his arms though.

Even as a middleweight competitor his guns were very small.

yeah he did he had long limbs there and short bi's weird,,but insane full legs top to bottom,,he was top 5 national guy for few good yrs ,,if he had arms he might have turned pro,,,but from that era u had to be complete in middles like t varga,c durr,d dearth, craig licker remember him great build but i mean pencil neck literally, vinny galanti to me was epitome in 93 usa complete look not the biggest but polished to the bone then.

stewart had a marketable look, good looking guy with the long hair (no homo)
Licker had great arms, but a strangely thin neck for a big guy, I thought he was a HW, he appeared larger

really only cutler has came up with better leg developement than platz, and mainly cause platz never had to come in as shredded as jay has to with todays standards.also there was a guy named jeff williams,a top three hvywt at the nationals in mid to late 80s that had some insane quads.

I always though Phil Hill had some exceptional quads...and let's not forget Kai Green
Paul Demayo, Craig Titus, Phil Hernon as well.

ronnie did have good quads, they were just shaped different, put a lot of size on them when he went uo in b.w.i think was mainly done to keep jay at bay.
