How ironic, considering how far the acceptable level of service in a restaurant has fallen. If you come to my table with a shitty attitude, letting everyone know how bothered you are by being at work, chomping gum, unkempt, don't know the menu, don't check up on the table periodically.....you won't have to wait until the tipping part of the meal for me to resolve the issue.
Fuck that....leaving a shitty tip and running out the door is so Beta. Handle the problem right up front with a manager. No fucking way some $3/hr idiot is going to ruin my night out.
Ive noticed that too, several of the restaraunts ive been to recently have been like this, cant answer any menu questions, looking dirty, seems annoyed to even have to talk to us, I had one bitch actually check her phone while taking my order (my wife just about went ballistic). Its getting pathetic. Needless to say those people dont get my customary 15%+ tip, lol.
Especially when you try and flag one down for a refill after theyve walked by your table 10+ times and never stopped to pick up the empty glass on the edge, and then they give you a dirty look and mumble under their breath because they have to do something. guy pissed me off.
One dude even tried to hit on my wife while waiting on our table (I didnt even have to say anything, it was pathetic, lol. My wife wound up laughing in his face, which was way more embarrassing for him than any hardass line I could have pulled out.)
Always seems to happen at a places like Chili's and TGI's.
