Seeing the Doctor...
« on: May 02, 2012, 07:34:37 AM »
Hey guys, I was just curious if you have a medical problem when your on and if you see the Doc or even when you get blood work, do you tell them your on. Cause I'm on 500 mg Test Cyp, 600 mg EQ, and 100 mg Var(Ed) and for the past 4 days had a subtle pain in my stomach that just hasnt gone away, in a place and a pain Ive never felt before. So was gunna go in, and just wandering if I just tell the doc right off the bat what I'm on. Cheers.

It took me a long time to find a doc that was serious to help me.
Was kicked out of 3 clinics and almost a 4th.

I ended up with leg infection and could not get into see my regular doc, and the medi center doc was quite nice about it, no lecture or anything

But if your having issues they need to know what your on and what your schedule is to help diagnose you.
You are going to get some bulshit lecture most likely. But they know so little about steroids its pathetic. Your already more educated than most of them.

Take it slow and see what you can dig up. Try and find a regular guy that can help you get blood work and what not. Be honest with them if you can.

be honest, and tell them everything. If you live in the USA, ask them to explain to you the HIPPA law, and make even though anything that happens in the office stays within the HIPPA law, play dumb and ask him if anything you tell falls under that law. and then just be honest, tell him what your taking

That's good advice right there!

Even in some countries where personal use is "illegal" doctors can't get you into trouble for seeking medical attention. How about Heroin users? What those people do to themselves is not even on the same line or field as steroids are and they get help without LE knocking on the door... (I'm sure there are few exceptions, but i haven't heard of them.) Just ask whether you are protected by the doctor-patient confidentiality, which you are. I always tell the truth about my usage and before i found a good doc, i got the "lecture" just roll your eyes and listen to that BS for 5 mins. and laugh on your way home...

Yup, before getting my TRT script, i had already put myslef on 150mg/week test E, and i told my doc to take bloodwork, and during my checkup when we went over the bloodwork, before he even looked at the numbers, i asked him to explain to me the HIPPA law , and assure me that this falls under that category ( even though its obvious)... so i told him, he went over the #s with me, he gave me a small lecture, and at the end he even wrote me a script for needles, he said the least he can do is to enable me to do it safely, and use proper needles... and i think it was pretty cool of him, he told me if the pharmacist asks what the needles are for, i should say its for B12 shots...

Hey M.D. here. Everyone is correct above. All serious bbers need to befriend a doc. He is not there to make value judgements. However, most have a poor understanding of anabolics and an even poorer understanding of peptide function. Short of GH and test, most "non-dangerous" M.D.s will be very reluctant to provide you with a "designer" series of anabolics. Oh yea boys bring your wallets and plenty of bank--
I love counting money!!
