remember how bad the ratings were when Spurs beat NJ? Horrible to watch too.

Remember 2 or 3 years bck, when the refs tried SO HARD to pass lebron to the finals to face kobe? Dwight howard/ORL was just getting hit with every BS call in close games, and they STILL won. They got whooped bad of courrse in the finals, but to me, there was no doubt (with the lebron/kobe commercials nonstop) what NBA wanted.

And we know the refs cheat - that's been proven in court - we just don't know how much.

They can't stop a team that's 20% better. But if it's 2% diff, the refs will do what they can. they'd love a kobe/lebron final way more than Spurs sweeping Boston.
