Native people have a predisposition to react very badly to alcohol and get addicted to alcohol very fast, same as other native people in south America and in Alaska - its rather sad - they (as much as the African's themselves) have such a rich history.

but i have seen the problem in Australia and PNG. The physical inability to digest alcohol is hard to imagine for most of us (a  few thousand years of dealing with fermented food and beverages helps). In some ways looks like someone has been glue sniffing too much
