Im a GM guy through and through... But Im not a huge fan of the new Camaro... its lost all connection to its heritage short of the body. It totally lost the ponycar aspect, thing is a fucking boat now.
Pretty sure GM is playing on the baby boomer angle, giving them something nostalgic but making it a luxury car. IMHO, no REAL performance car should weigh 4000 lbs.

I would own one for a daily, but not for a performance car. Just my .02

I agree....I remember the old camaro 90's style. every kid in high school back then wanted one.....I know camaro has a lot of hardcore, die hards fan outthere, but I don't think Chevy will ever change my mind about my mustangs.....I rented a 2012 GT 5.0 from Enterprise two months ago, I was so impressed with the ride and it was cheap to rent for 4 days too......it had a 400hp, big V8 and I think the gas mileage was not bad either.....sorry camaro, I'm a mustang fan....lol

The Coyote 5.0 Is a badass motor, so much better than the late 90's/early 2000's mod motors. The Coyote actually has a lot of room for improvement, and heads that arent designed by a mentall handicapped monkey.

On of the 4.6 motors literally had an intake port with almost a 90* short turn to the valve in it. Almost 90*! There is no way in hell to make it flow enough air. Thats why they always said "It responds to boost well", yeah, because it cant flow any air without something pressurizing it! No shit it gains so much power from adding forced induction!
