No fights against Venom?
Son I am disappoint.

Actually I know very little about the Spider man comics, Venom is just on of my favorite villians of all time.

Yeah, it's very, very hard to narrow it down to just 5 battles. But these fights in my opinion seemed to define his character the most. So I had to cut some other legendary scraps off the list.

#5 and #1 are accurate... but the others?

As stated, no fight against Venom? Hello? No fight against Kraven? Since Kraven actually "killed" Spiderman, buried him in the ground for two weeks and impersonated him around town. Only to commit suicide when Spidey crawled out of the grave. No Morlun (sp) He officially killed Spiderman, ripped out his eyeball and ate it.

Piece of fucking shit list that is.

I had a copy of this issue when i was a kid but tossed it, wonder what it is worth now. anyway b e a n e r, go buy a damn domain, place some google ads and make some money, geez.

not a complete list without venom
particularly the issue when they both fought on that deserted island.......
comics were so good back then....
that green goblin battle was epic....
compare that to the garbage marvel come out with now

The fights with Venom were awesome. But they didn't define Spidey IMHO the way the others on this list did.

Honestly, look how good the art and storytelling was back in the day. Today's artist and writers can't hold a candle to this.

Have you read all the venom spiderman battles thats started in amazing spiderman 300 up to pre 2000...

Back in the day, Spiderman also had much more musclemass, due to doing Falconcurls.

Larsen was like a McFarlane rip off. As seen how he took over Amazing Spiderman after McFarlane left and did the Spiderman break off. I like Larsen, though he's no McFarlane....No one is. Jim Lee is my second favorite penciler followed by Dale Keown.

I got In school suspension (ISS) in 7th grade cause of this book. They banned comics in my school cause we were outta control with trading and selling them....Those were the good days. I miss those days.

Todd mcfarlane was the best.... spiderman artis hands down..... Jim lee was amazing too liked his work with xmen....
