Eh... I have mixed feelings about this. Not really happy that it turned into a movie so fast. I'd be interested to hear what the DEVGRU operators think about their op being turned into some kind of propaganda flick....
the timing is suspect... the sunday before the election, really?
IS this movie really called SEAL TEAM SIX: Raid on Obama- natnegro?
what a fucking jokebench
This. It irritates me that they opened up these files to this filmmaker.
My words exactly...Seems like OPSEC is a thing of the past.
its' on right now - channel 276 on Direct tv
Didn't like around 25 members of SEAL Team 6 die aboard a helicopter? It was the largest number of casualties in a single day in Afghanistan suffered by the US military. Seems pretty suspicious that somehow a rag-tag group of Taliban were able to shoot down this helicopter? Who gave the order to move this many SEALs in a single helicopter above hostile territory? Where are the conspiracy stories on this?Just imagine all the millions of dollars in training and equipment these guys had.
this movie is pretty cool so far. I won't give any spoilers. Very high production, along the lines of an HBO show.
Well no shit, it was approved by the White House and produced by the same person that did The Hurt Locker.I think that the fact that its going to be shown on Cable is a political stunt to get it to as wide an audience as possible. They want it to be as slick and dramatic as possible. Will be a nice propaganda flick for the upcoming election.
I hope we don't get further backlash from this film. It is like rubbing it in.
it's been nothing but flattering to obama so far. They showed mccain mocking Obama for saying the #1 goal was to kill bin laden, pwning himself. TONS of war footage here. mostly about the military side, only 1 minute of obama so far. mostly military ops in the field.
