Advocare: does Drew Brees make you think differently about MLMs?
« on: December 28, 2012, 12:25:35 PM »

I'm a Drew Brees guy. (no homo)

I'm an anti-MLM guy.  Success stories be damned, I clown any and everyone who gets involved with that shit.

But if one of the most recognizable stand-up guys in pro sports is backing a company (not just the products, but also the business model), is it possible that they're legit?

I've been a distributor with Advocare for 2 years.  Advocare is honestly more of a Direct Sales company than an MLM as you don't get much compensation for recruiting people into the business as selling the products.  When you sign up, you initially start out with a 20% discount on product sales.

At my level currently...being Advisor (Requires selling 3k dollars in products within 3 cycles (6 weeks) I now get 40% discount on products meaning that when I sell their 24 Day Challenge (Most Popular Product), I get about 80 bucks from every sale and 40 dollars from my distributors under me who are at the 20% discount level.

Its a legit business...there's no monthly fees or autoships or point system or BS.  You sell a product and you keep the difference between the price and your distributor cost.....no pie charts or slideshows to figure that out.  There are a few things I don't like but its been pretty good to me so I have no complaints.  And the products are really good...the Advocare Spark is my favorite... its gets me pumped up for my workouts without any jitters and comes in a bunch of flavors.

For those inquiring about Advocare...you can visit my distributor site although I prefer buying an inventory of products (Mostly Grape Flavored Spark and Mass Impact) and selling it directly to my PT clients.
