TODAY IS THE DAY
DATE. 4/6/2013
CITY. PORTLAND ORE.
PLACE. GIANT'S GYM

Today starts the big move of The Famous Zuverman 18ft Statue. The hard part is getting him out of Giants gym building and into an enclosed truck. This is going on as I write this report. It's now 2:06 pm in Portland. It will take a few days to make the trip to Pennsylvania and with a few stops along the way ill keep you posted on the progress. I'm excited as there is an added original Zuver's Hall Of Fame Gym piece going along for the trip.

Ill be showing that one soon. Each day ill update this post to the progress of his journey along with photo's. tune in later for updates.

Well here is a quick update to end the day.
Zuverman with a lot of hands on was laid on his back and carried out to the door. Once there the guys realized that Zuverman had bulked up sense he moved to Giants Gym and would no longer fit in the truck. So some emergency surgery was performed to his right arm to help him fit in for the ride back to PA. Not to worry though, there are a team of specialists awaiting Zuverman's arrival in Pennsylvania to make him better than new agin. He will be bigger, stronger, faster than ever and with all new paint even more handsome for the lady's. and of course a new set of posing trunks.

Well Zuverman is resting fine after cold rainy night in Portland. The new owner had a great time out on the town taking a break from the long day of getting Zuverman out of Giants Gym, now named Hollywood Fitness Center, and loaded into the big Pinsky truck. There on the road agin this morning heading for the east. Ill post an update tonight.

Well he Is on his way.
Only he has a friend along for the ride.
Yep it's Giant Zuverman's little half brother Zuver Golden Bust Man.
It's the original Golden Muscleman Bust that sat on Zuver's Famous Odd Lift Stage for many years at the original Zuver's Costa Mesa Gym. He joined Big Zman when he went to live at Giants Gym in Portland and now will live on in Pennsylvania. The road trip is starting off interesting with a visit to Stonehinge in Washington being his first stop. He is expected to make many stops along the way and will be sharing photos along the way. He also will be displayed at his new home with Zuverman after a makeover. We are working to recover and display more Zuver Original items also. He had fun today and Is resting up for whatever adventure awaits him tomorrow. Check in agin tomorrow for the next update.

Same as the big Zuverman
Fiberglass.
We first built a model out of clay. Then a mold out of rubber. Than made the bust in two pieces. Then put them togather. And there you have The Zuverman Bust.

Well it's day two on the trip to Pennsylvania.
Looks like The Golden Zuverman Bust had a bit to much protein shake to drink last night. We had trouble getting him out of bed this morning. He's going to pay for giving us a late start this morning.
He did eventually get moving and posed for a few shots in Spokane Wa.

Well didn't have anything to report yesterday. The weather didn't help with Zuverman And Lil Z trip yesterday because it was snowing to much and they just had to lay low for the day. Today they continued ther adventure by posing with some more roadside celebrities. Around lunch they got thirsty and stopped by the Water Hole just to find it empty. Lucky for them there was The Lazy JD Bar and Cafe just across the road. A couple of brews and giant steak lunch and on the road agin. More when I can.

Sorry Good Question.
Zuverman and Lil Z made it to Pennsylvania without a hitch.
There enjoying there stay at Ricks home. That's there new owner. The Giant Zuverman I going through his makeover to bring him back to his original self. That means a little surgery, re painting, and a new pair of posing trunks. When finished he will be moved one last time a few miles down the road to his new permanent
Home.
We are keeping Lil Golden Z just the way he was. All original paint and all, just the way he was in the 1960s on stage at Zuver's Gym.
Shouldn't be much longer now.
Ill be sure to let you guys know as soon as he is on display.

WELL BRICKYARD GYM IS NOW OPEN.
THE OFFICAL GRAND OPENING IS THIS SATERDAY 6/29/2013
The original Lil Z is there greeting the mew members. Next month The Original Giant Zuverman will be there also. Those of you back there that can visit please do and tell Rick And Tammy I sent you and that your a Getbig Member.

Well it's been a long road.
ZUVERMAN STANDS TALL AGIN AT LAST IN HIS NEW HOME.
This morning with help of a large crane Zuverman was stood in front of The Brickyard Gym in Darlington PA.
It's been a long road for the big guy but he is happy to be home at last.
If your ever out that way stop by for a picture with the most famous original muscle statue on display.
Zuverman is 44 years old. Looking good for his age he represents The Original Zuver's Gym and the History of the West Coast Lifting World. I'm looking forward to seeing him agin in October myself. My children have never seen him in person but thanks to Rick And Tammy Tsai they will one day.
