Was watching a video last night and a girl said she only trains obese ppl for body transformations. Being formerly pretty fucking fat, I know that at that weight pretty much anything works for good results. Lots of cardio, lots of weights, just even eating same foods but cutting potions back works. Pretty simple.

Now for something like dialing a person in for a show seems pretty complicated. Watching their food intake meticulously, adjusting training/cardio, etc.

Seems a lot of money to pay for some pretty basic knowledge you can find online. I hate to knock what someone does for a living, but to train exclusively ppl who know absolutely nothing seems like shooting fish in a barrel for good results. $500 for 3 months of that seems steep too.

The whole training thing is a scam, how to diet and train can be summed up on a side of A4 with room to spare. How to gain motivation is the real key, the money is probably better spent on a visit to a shrink.

imo, i think if someone were gonna give someone $500 they would be pretty motivated to get what they want. maybe i'm just poor but i'd never give someone half a stack and then give up a few weeks in.

How can people train if they don't have someone counting the reps for them?  If someone doesn't tell you to go for a run in a park, how would you know to do it? Personal trainers and their 1 week internet certificate is the biggest advance in exercise science since the invention of the shake weight.

Why would you tell an obese person to run?

I would use fast walking but if they are able to slow run all the better. It's one of the fastest ways to lose fat.

This where you or someone else comes back claiming it's a horrible way to lose weight. Men's health did a report on successful people who lost weight and guess what? Everyone had a constant of doing a form of aerobics. Some lifted weights. Some did body weight exercises. They all included aerobic exercise.

The best way to lose weight is a combination of strength training, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning.

In short, the best way is to get blood work done to see if there if there are any underlying problems. Aside from that, you  there isn't, you NEVER have an obese person try to run. Walk, stationary bike,, yes.
