you are 290 correct? 25% of which or better is fat. since when did fat become the new bench mark in size? so if you have an arm that is 20 inches, and a bodyfat level of 25%- and in your case oil in your arm as well i see- how much lean tissue is in that arm? im thinking you'd be lucky to have a 17" arm if you took all the fat and oil out of it. mayyyyybe 17". thats being generous so as to not insult you.
so, whats the point? so you can be 'big'? your not big. your fat. i was 312 pounds at my heaviest. i was a fucking monster who would dwarf you. this is no lie. my traps looked like loaves of bread. i couldnt wear jeans. i was a 54" suit jacket (i think. this was 10-12 years ago) w a 38" dress pant. one tailor actually told me it was the biggest drop he had seen in inches from chest to waist. was i 'big'? no i was fat. i was 20% or better. thats not big. thats fat.
the reason i say this is because your not a young man anymore. you take an awfully great amount of pride in your 'size', size which is going to give you some serious health complications down the road, if it hasnt started already, such as diabetis and high blood pressure, not to mention heart disease. all that to walk around fat to delude yourself into thinking your 'big'? not that i care about your health- its a shallow thing to say like that but im being serious, i dont know you, but there are people who do, like your gf or wife, and your family who do care for you.
i like you. you seem like a good guy. but lose this mentality bro. its not healthy, and your not what your trying so hard to be. take that energy and drive and strip that weight off. not to look like a 170 pound twink cause guys like us never will, but so you can have a healthy highly functioning body. whats the sense of carrying around 50 pound of fat on you if you can be as strong with half that amount of fat or even less (or even be as strong as you are now at 8-10%). so you can pretend your fat is muscle? c'mon man.
