IF this is a die hard Arnold and Sly fan board.... the movie is not looking promising ..

The critics say that the Escape Plan  is 20 years late, IF this was 1993 they could probably have the blockbuster of the year....

But Today, Julian Moore will kick both of their asses this weekend with movie "Carrie" which its pretty embarrassing ...

Yeah, imagine how many people wanted to see Arnold and Sly in the same movie during the early 90s...

It just doesn't have the same OOMPH these days

Would have been great having a Sly-Arnold movie right after Arnold did Twins

These two mixed their chance to make an epic movie together where they had to fight each other or battle against each other one way or another(too old now)...Instead their ego's just kissed each others asses.

yea its a good movie, sly is is usual self but arnold really stole the scenes he was in, still got the presence and charisma. Of course there is stuff you could pick apart like any movie but it's not just a dumb action film, more of a thriller with action.

I and the girlfriend really enjoyed it. She doesn't follow bodybuilding or Sly or Arnold.

People bitch too much. Movie was fun. Arnold had a lot of funny lines. All in all, he was the bigger star than Sly.

Good action. Good pace. Go see it.

I need a rule of thumb for those that say this movie is good...Do you like The Expendables franchise also?

Expendables are okay, but Escape Plan had a better story and is more engaging.  Nothing really new or groundbreaking about it, but overall a very entertaining movie.  "Escape from Alcatraz", "Lock-Up" and "Tango and Cash" combined in one movie.

Escape plan is number 3 here in the uk which is actually pretty good going up against two heavily promoted movies "turbo" and "captain phillips
Pretty much only arnold and sly fans even knew it was coming out. Lionsgate basically thought 1 trailer, a few pics and tvspots a week before release and mostly after midnight would get the job done
