what i dont like in regars to phil  is... he gets a big pass because he has big arms.... people look past other flaws..

Phil's ONLY flaw is he's narrow , same people are willing to give Shawn Ray as pass for that but not Phil , a bit hypocritical. You have a bad habit of reducing people to just parts. You did it with Dorian ( just calves and a back ) and Phil just arms

Phil is the most complete bodybuilder competing at the Olympia level , he has all bases covered , size , shape , conditioning , no real weak points , he's a good poser he looks great from all angles , is he perfect? NO compared to the guys he's competing with he's simply a step above.

Not a damn flaw in this shot period.

Phi's weaker poses are the lat spreads , they're not bad but others can beat him in these poses. And the ab-thigh but he simply wins more mandatories than his competition.

Phil's arms off-season are ridiculous however when he diets down they come into proportion with the rest of his physique

Flawless indeed

Quarter turns are also part of the judging and he wins all 4 with ease as the quarters are won by being full and shredded in the relax position and that is his main traits

I was in truth messing around on the dorian thread dorian was good i just think coleman was better....
phil is narrow chest is lacking big time .. see most muscular... but because his arms look big in that pose people doesnt see his chest is waay behind his arms.... eg i thing dex has a better physiue than both heath and kai... well pre gut....

He looks good, but sorry his back is huge but doesn't "flow" unless he can get better symmetry in his back and figure out a way to do a rear lat spread w/o someone being able to place a level across his shoulders and have it be perfectly level, he will not win. Still a great bodybuilder tho. I will go out on a limb and say cutler pulls a rabbit out of his hat and beats Kai...

He is very big right now in spite of months being clean. Around 127kg(quite good condition).
But still he has knee problem and maybe needs operation in autamn.
