The report claims that after they reach their peak around the year 3000 humans will begin to regress.

These humans will be between 6ft and 7ft tall, and they will live up to 120 years.

why would humans regress? physically maybe, but mentally we may be far better...

secondly, the author never read the book. the Eloi were not intelligent, they were childlike and had no ability to be self sufficient.  the morlocks had engineering skills that maintained an underground society, and they kept the eloi alive, clothed, and fed through their efforts - in order to use them as a food source.

Humans are fucked. Someone said(i forgot who) that being stupid isn't nearly as fatal as it once was. So true and so bad for the evolution of humans. And in my opinion we won't be on earth long enough to evolve much further. Nuclear bombs are out there. They will go off sometime.It happened to japan. It can happen again.
