He was like a cartoon hero at his best. I've been in good shape at 220, but it just costs so much more to continue on financially, health wise, whatever. His vids were always awesome. No the best speaker, but damn the dude got big, strong, and tore up at the same time. You have to respect that IMO.

Kevin took plenty of gear, rest assured. Aging is just genetic.

Pros are like you and me, just w good enough genes to handle all the gear. Whereas we would keel over

Yes, he took plenty of gear while training for a show but once that show was over, Kevin didn't go anywhere near a weightroom for months. I trained at his gym in Maryland and he would literally shrink at a record pace once a show was done. After 1998 when he placed 2nd to Coleman at the Night of Champions, he was only doing two shows a year...the Arnold and the Olympia, which were only 4 months apart. His genetic response to gear was on another level, therefore he didn't have to take as much as some of the other pros.
