I'm a little perplexed by the so called "thug" look. Especially with the bodybuilding crowd and all of these so called "hardcore" trendy gyms that are popping up, graffiti graphics on the wall with shit like skulls and cross bones, equipment they don't know how to use (but it looks really cool )  Everyone is all tatted up, flat bills, Gucci wallets and purses and other stupid looking shit all the while rocking the hardcore look...because they were raised in the mean streets of Huntington Harbor or Palos Verdes where the home's start at $1.5mil

Well those gyms are just to sign you up on a plan a few dollars a month all get you is bullshit machines and such they give no direction or if so bullshit. You got a good a great gym old school as far as I can tell from pics you posted. Barbells and Dumbells a few machines for isolation that has built many of great physiques over the years.

For me personally, I dont really need a bunch of money, fine cars etc. because Ive never considered myself to be a greedy person. I do want more money in the future though, and thats why I work hard in school in order to get it. But its not what its ultimately about, its about pursuing your goals and dreams, and having fun while doing it. I take pride in working hard to achieve the goals that I set myself, and I enjoy evolving and developing myself in the process. For me its about continuously making progress in all aspects of life whether its my school, my job, my Health/training etc. Not so much about materliasim and having the need to impress others. because I could care less about others, I just want to build a life that is enjoyable enough to live, and that I can share with my girl and my loved onces. In the end, life is all about being happy and enjoying the ride.
