Ideal for some but for me nothing to do with shape and symmetry... :-\

Kinda like one of those decorative fountains the ooze melted chocolate.

Except this one looks more like boiled shit bubbling up over a coiled toilet dwelling turdsnake.

Only just discovered this excellent thread - couldn't tell you the last time I sat through and read an 18-page thread on Getbig. Great stuff, interesting stories and some good pics.

Just a little more leg separation and I'd say that's perfection.

Amazing how good frank zane looked.
And at a relatively light Bodyweight.

In that 1979 Olympia video it's the best I have seen him.

Thanks for posting.

Hey everyone, sorry I have dropped off posting old pics. That last year I have been travelling so much more than normal. Promoting the Arnold Classic has been kind of life changing. I have visited so many cities and countries to see every expo I can and to learn. Plus doing the security detail for the expos with Arnold, MCing shows and interviewing for NPC News online. Things have quietened down for now so I will post some more pics and share a few stories. In the mean time, i will post some shots of travelling and working with Arnold.

The Rise and Fall of Bill Pettis, the Man With “The Biggest Arms in the World”

His biceps once trumped Arnold’s. As other Gold’s Gym icons parlayed their physiques into fame and fortune, Bill Pettis took a different route—one that landed him on the Venice Boardwalk

This was a really cool day, I had Kevin Levrone in Australia early 90s to guest pose and he didn't know that Sonny would be in Melbourne at the time. So when I bought Sonny up on stage Kevin was genuinely touched and we had a great on stage chat with a few laughs. They knew each other really well from being on the road especially the European Grand Prix circuit. They had a great respect for each other and Sonny had some great Kevin stories.

My favorite one went something like this. They were at a seminar at a gym in Germany doing a Q&A type talk when one of the fans asked Kevin how strong he was, he answered, "pretty strong". They kept asking how many sets and reps etc. He finally answered by suggesting that they set up a bench and weights to find out how strong he was. Sonny said that completely cold, no warm up he benched at 4 plates a side and smashed out an easy 20 reps. Sonny and they fans could not believe their eyes and Kevin just kept on with the seminar like nothing special had happened.

thats awesome

Hey Tony, how about BJ Johns. I remember he died very early. Did you know him? How about Marc Rainbow?

Marc is a funny guy for sure. He went through a serious amphetamine problem and fucked up his life a lot but is now getting his shit together although probably still has way too high blood pressure from orals that make him retain water.
