What's with all the weapons ?  Do you live in a bad neighborhood ?

Not at all. Just habit.

I might also add that EVERYBODY in this part of the country is mostly armed. My wife was out walking one of our dogs and she came across an older gent with his dog off leash. When he realized that our dog was going to make the off-leash thing troublesome, he improvised a leash with his gun belt, jamming his holstered roscoe in his pants. My wife was unfazed, as her .38 was in easy reach.

Not a lot of crime round these parts.

why is it that it's ALWAYS f_aggots carrying knives/ weapons that start these topics?  ;D

It's a good question. I just thought it would be an interesting topic not related to the Olympia.

As long as I have just one credit card, I am never going back to the Constanza. My back hurts just thinking about it.

I just like good butterfly knives. I have a huge knife problem, especially Dozier fixed blades. I have a nasty habit of losing and then refinding folders every year or so. Had a really nice AG Russell lock back folder that I carried for years. The fuck if I know where it is now. Probably behind the couch or something.

The Benchmade will go back in the safe in a few weeks and something else will come out.

Heavy on bonds and munis. Don't quite trust equities after '08 when I got taken to the cleaners.

I carry a knife to cut things that occasionally need to be cut. I carry a gun and pray that I never have the opportunity to use it.

Hmm, it is kinda silly. I do like them, though.

I had a pair of nunchucks when I was 12. Not since then.

short those muni's!

equities have been pure gold the past few years.. check the VXX chart since '09.

i'd much rather trade a bear market than a bull. '08 was a special time.. shorting AIG and watching it drop from the 30's to the 10's, and hoping it was gonna go to zero (same with Citi, and a few others) was the best natural high I've had in a long, long time.
