Actually, if you do a lot of heavy outdoor work a butterfly makes a lot of sense if you can't carry a fixed blade. On a good one you have to shear the two pivot pins, plus torque the knife out of your grip for it to fail. It really is super safe as far a folding knives go, certainly more so than a traditional rocker bar folder.

short those muni's!

equities have been pure gold the past few years.. check the VXX chart since '09.

i'd much rather trade a bear market than a bull. '08 was a special time.. shorting AIG and watching it drop from the 30's to the 10's, and hoping it was gonna go to zero (same with Citi, and a few others) was the best natural high I've had in a long, long time.

i like the cut of your jib

Is that a Ruger .380? I tried one and I thought the trigger pull was really junky. What are your thoughts on the weapon? Accurate for it's size? Reliable?

that's a 'last min' gun.. accurate enough at within 10feet for a center-mass shot.

I didn't like it... i'd rather have a hk usp with a decocking lever in 9mm.

Yeah. It replaced my Seecamp .32 as my pocket gun. I wouldn't want it in a firefight, unless it was in an elevator.

I used a Heckler and Koch p7m8 for many years. One of the best hand guns ever made. Never had any experience with the USP. It seems inspired by the success of the Sig Sauer line.

I should've edited that with hk usp compact... overall i'm a 1911 guy, preferably a dbl stack STI, but carried a single stack para in 9mm up until I wasn't allowed to own anything with a trigger.  ;D

Geeez, that double stack STI is as big as a Desert Eagle. Not easy to conceal.
