see, I'm cool with a movie like this - but it has to retain some realism.  If a SINGLE monster like this appeared ,our badass military would put 3 missiles in its head inside of 7 minutes, and it'd be over. 

now, if there was a movie where somehow, the monsters were controlled by something like an alien, and specifically targeted military/govt stuff, and maybe there were thousands of them planted that grew all at once one day, that'd be badass.

But the idea of 1 to 3 of these big old things wrecking the country, sorry, just TOO unrealistic in a world where my premise somehow makes perfect sense.

The Military had to up the ante if they'd want to do some damage on Godzilla.

A constant barrage of all the weapons available usually makes him irritated and sends him back home to Monster Island.

Now, add 2 more of these big ol things and you got a problem.

That's when you have to start to persuade one or two of the big ol things to gang up on the third, bribe em with a Sandow or similar.

I'm pretty sure a series of JDAMs could wreck godzilla.  I don't care if his skull is 3 feet thick and hard as concrete, we'd cut right through.

I'd love to see like 1500 godzillas attack all at once.  That'd be badass!  The govts of the world would wipe out 1000 of them with weapons, then be overrun.  Maybe the godzillas would all attack power grids first, and the nations would all be anarchy.  That'd be a cool movie premise.

But just seeing a big lizard chop holes in buildings and swap 12 military vehicles before the govt "gives up" makes it seem too much like a batman movie.  In "real life", the US would have had The Joker chopped down with rifle fire pretty quickly.  Make this movie realistic.  And to me, 1500 godzillas controlled by aliens or maybe some crazy guy on an island, that's believable.
