Irish road racing
« on: October 24, 2013, 04:44:46 AM »
Any Irish people on here involved in this crazy sport?

300 people something died over the years in that race. F*cken crazy. But looks like an amazing adrenaline rush for sure.

Certainly not involved but Ive seen alot of those guys shown in the video race in person. They are nuts, I mean properly insane. The roads they race on are far from a race track....there is no sand or gravil pit to run into, you miss your line or mess up and you smack into a wall. End of.
Majority of the roads are in terrible condition too. It has a somewhat small hardcore following here.

I've been to the Isle of Man for the TT. It's as crazy as the Northwest 200.

What the f*ck, that's just crazy. They're drunk right? They're Irish after all...

Must be a really intensive adrenaline rush but I can't understand how people are willing to take the risk.

I'm not even comfortable riding my bicycle in traffic.  :-\
