In regards to Uberman, not the case.

He is quite the character.  His dad basically put him out on the street and he did have hopes of joining the US military for a free Green Card before he decided on Canada.  I can`t say that he would have been a good fit for the military overall.  Luckily that scheme fell through.

Well he is against immigration in most respects and he was using the oldest trick in the book to become a US citizen but that does not matter much either.  I just thought it a quaint anecdote, something that only he and I knew on this board for a very long time.

I don`t find it a big deal at all and applaud the idea.  I can`t say it makes the best naturalized citizens as its pretty lax in some regards, but DHS probably does a good enough job screening for baddies.
